Somewhere between Key West and Australia lies a small tropical island that’s not even on a map. (The best places never are) One such place was the inspiration for Callin’ me Again on the upcoming Maro Brothers CD.

The Maro Brothers are also in a “place” that is hard to pinpoint on any musical map. They break some rules in the musical genre game, running
the gamut from rock/pop, blues, and country into their own brand of Jimmy Buffett style “trop-rock.”

“They do a lot of trop-rock that the Parrot heads love, but some of their stuff has a bluesy, New Orleans sound to it,” (Patti Parker of Parker Productions, Inc.) “They’re musical tricksters, you just never know what they’re gonna pull out of the hat!”
